I am moved by the unspeakable wisdom of our bodies, by what is buried and forgotten, then brought back to life to be witnessed. What I’m inspired by is the knowing in our hands, unsaid words, the process of creation and the unraveling of the power of vulnerability.

Central motive of my artistic practice is the female body as a vessel of history, vulnerability that cures and holds an immense potential for transformation. My work serves as a visual exploration of the inner landscapes of the female body as a home which suffers the consequences of social and political pressures. Our home contains the ancestral inheritance that seeks to be witnessed and healed. My artistic practice is based on contemplation of the coalescence of identity, history, and emotions that reside within the ever evolving female form.
I explore different materials and mediums, contrasts between them and strive to present and bring closer the process of movement and transformation.
The experience of losing my sense of smell led me to reflect on its role, the role of memories, emotions and what its absence brings. This encounter is bringing me back to my body and serves as a teacher of the wisdom of the body.
